It is understood that the National Sustainable Spice Program (NSSP) is a joint initiative by World Spice Organisation (WSO) which is a technical arm of All India Spices Exporters Forum (AISEF), IDH - The Sustainable Trade Initiative, GIZ – Promoting Biodiversity friendly production and Spices Board India.
This initiative has been designed to provide a platform for all stakeholders in the Spice supply chain to come together and commit to a Sustainable Spice Program. The vision of the program is to make 25% of the Spices grown in India Sustainable by 2025.
The Stakeholders involved in this program are FPOs, NGOs, aggregators, processors, retail brand owners and exporters. Other facilitators to this program including Central and State Agriculture, Horticulture departments and research organizations such as Indian Institute of Spice Research (IISR), National Research Centre for Seeds Spices (NRCSS), and Directorate of Arecanut and Spices Development (DASD).
I agree my organization/company will be part of this Sustainable program and I shall support the program in my/our capacity as an Implementing Partner/FPO/Farmer Cooperative/ NGO/ Retailer/ Aggregator/ Processor/ Exporter (tick the one / ones that are applicable). I also agree that the logo and name of my organization/company can be used on the website and other communication materials as required, as a signatory to the program.
