NSSP is being launched in the North-East India through a webinar for key industry stakeholders in the region on June 15, 2020. During the Webinar, NSSP officials will present details about the programme to the participants and a roadmap to work collectively to create sustainable supply chains within the spices sector.
A variety of spices are grown in the North-East India including large cardamom, ginger, turmeric, chillies and black pepper. The spices grown in the region are high mostly high in quality, with minimal use of agrochemicals.
During the webinar, interactive sessions between the sector stakeholders will be conducted to facilitate discussions on farming practices and market linkages.
